Training Week
Well, I've been here in Campbellsville, Kentucky for two full days now, and we have had so much packed into just these first few days. Training week has been about planning and participating in every aspect of camp so that we know what to do when we start.
My team is amazing. The twenty-one of us who will be a team this summer have been getting to know each other (I had all the names memorized by lunch yesterday) and they are incredible. Our team was best summed up by Dan: "I have never seen this many type-A personalities getting along, loving each other, and completing every challenge set before them with such quality, speed, and cheerfulness"
It's incredible. Now off to the next thing- there's so much more I would love to write about, but
the schedule is jam-packed and there's always stuff to do. I'm heading to worship; from there to a seminar with suggestions on how to teach the jewelry class I'm teaching; then from there to team time, then to go practice for the drama that we'll be performing in sections throughout the camp wee (I got the main character). Love y'all!

It sounds as if you are fitting in rather well among your new surroundings! Jewelery class? That should be right up your alley!

from Talitha
the main person in the play is always the best thing to be. in a play I have been the 2nd main person but there were only two of us so it wasn't a big deal.

Glad you're having fun. Glad to see they don't deprive you of the neccesities of life up there (like, you know, interwebs and such.) :P
I want to see a play staring Miriam.
